Accepting responsibility for the region
As a company that has its roots in the region we feel socially responsible for the people who live in the palatinate region: We offer jobs to the local population, provide secure pay and offer our employees good prospects for a secure future.
Together with GECHEM we also regularly support social organisations and do everything we can for the people who live here.

We use green electricity for our production process
At Spiess Chemicals we decided to only use electricity from renewable energy sources for our production process.
Own photovoltaics system with large storage facility
Together with GECHEM we have installed a large photovoltaics system covering 8500 square meters in total. It helps us produce a large part of the electricity that we need for our production process ourselves.
Electric vehicle fleet
To make our contribution to a successful transition to more effective forms of transportation, all our forklift trucks and conveyor vehicles are electric. We have furthermore installed several charging stations for electric cars on our site. Our company cars are also either electric vehicles or hybrids.
Measures for safety
Since, among other things, we also handle hazardous substances, we have introduced many safety measures such as, for example, coated retention tanks. This way we can always be sure that our groundwater and environment are not polluted.
